The breakfasts here feature a very generous omelette, the location is great for exploring nearby eateries and bars, and the area feels safe and secure.

The breakfast spread was delicious and absolutely superb with very generous omelette and fresh local fruit, for example.

Quaint accommodation with easy setting adjacent to center, the river and trees, and bars, restaurants, shops. Competent, very attentive staff towards all guests. Good food options: D

We spent a fleeting one day, but we were impressed with thew reception, and overall friendliness of the staff. The venue is clean and neat, we had safe parking. The environment is quiet and peaceful, and safe.the price is very economic and services are good.

everything was good here, and the views were lovely. it was in a great and easy location with dorp street nearby.

The rooms were tidy and equipped with a safe, central heating, and coffee/tea making facilities. the staff was friendly, helpful, and always had a smile. - the location was fantastic, making it easy to walk to the center and convenient for exploring the area.

I enjoyed the convenient location, the excellent reception and treatment by the staff. Rivierbos met all our needs. It was comfortable and the breakfast was very good. It has ample and secure parking. I will definitely recommend it and will return next year.

Rivierbos is situated within walking distance to the Stellenbosch CBD whilst also being in a quiet street. I enjoyed the tranquility of the place. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The staff, efficient and very friendly and obliging, especially the ladies who work at the front desk.

Having to ask for toilet paper!! Also, that there are no plugs close to a mirror for blow drying hair.

The staff here was really friendly and helpful, providing great directions and assistance.

The hotel is tucked away in a quiet street, about 5 mins away walking to the central area of town. The hotel staff is fantastic, always accomodating and knowledgeable.

Cramped room

Our hostess, Dione, was cheerful, helpful and charming. So, including Dione, the gardens, the house, the dining room, everything was pretty, inviting and charming.

It would have been very helpful if there was another 'resting place' for some of our stuff which we didn't want to put in the cupboard - eg a small table or another chair.

The staff here were super helpful and went out of their way to assist us during our stay. the rooms were spacious and super quiet, with all the amenities you need and a dreamy bed 😊.

We stayed one night and arrived late. The room was clean! Comfy bed, quiet setting, off road car park, quite central. Recommend for a cheap but clean and comfortable overnight stay in Stellenbosch. B'fast was simple but nice!

Entry and exit system after reception is closed is a bit inconvenient.

What a very nice place for an overnight stay in Stellenbosch! Almost in the heart of town and yet a country feeling. Nice breakfast, secure parking, everything OK.
